Food equals art, or food is art explores my archive as a commercial food photographer with the aim to elevate what appear to be ordinary ingredients into unique pieces of art with the purpose to think that these common ingredients might become scarce if we continue with our unsustainable consumerist habits. Like ancient busts or rennaisance memento paintings, these photographs might help future generations understand our food habits and our cultural relationship with food.
Food = Art is exhibiting during October 2024 at Hello my Moon cafe in Brighton as part of Brighton Photo Fringe festival.
